Story Sale
Thought I’d throw this out there. I sold a story to Norilana Books’ new anthology Sky Whales and Other Wonders. The story is titled…well, Sky Whales and I’m excited to see it in print. The book comes out in December. Yay me! This is my first story sale in over a year. I’ve been out of the business for a year plus I’d guess for a lot of reasons, but mainly to handle my father’s personal/business affairs and my own demons. Still working on the demons issue (probably will be forever). Also dealing with the breakup of a long-term relationship with my boyfriend (ex I guess I need to say now). Not sure where I’m going from here, but we’ll see …
Mood: uncertain
PS – need a theme that fits me better

Dear Lisa,
I’s a pleasure to publish your truly stunning story in SKY WHALES AND OTHER WONDERS, and I am thrilled to see you you posting again! We all need a timeout (often more than one, you and me both!), and whatever life brings, the pendulum eventually swings the other way.
Welcome back, dear friend!
