Lots of words down
Managed 1300 new words tonight. This is such a weird story and I feel awkward telling it for some strange reason. I know the structure is screwed up, but I will check that out as soon as I finish it. Betting this one goes at least 5K. Tonight I figured out Bliss’ goal and her major internal obstacle. Just need to tell the future part of the story credibly enough to make the whole thing work. Have to look at a mechanism or two once I finish to see if they still work when I get to the end.

WOW, awesome wordage! And you know, awkward is good, means you are pushing your own envelope and comfort level into a new place! Usually the more powerful and significant works result from such… so, go, go, go!

Nice going, Lisa. Words flowing is always good!

Thanks, Vi — I agree, pushing past our own comfort zone is a good thing. I’ve been doing that all year, LOL. I get these ideas and then realize, oh I think it needs to have “this” kind of structure. A structure I’ve never written before. And so I go romping through it like a Labrador puppy through a formal living room. Too naive to know I’m too little to be in this room. Too clumsy to avoid breaking that crystal bird on the coffee table.

Thanks, Ron. Hope they flow into something readable, LOL.
